Prayers and Support

In February, 2010 we received the following note from Reg & Betty Gokey and Volunteers from the
St. David Food Bank and St. David Baptist Church in St. David, AZ:

“Dear Caring Ministries,
We, at the St. David Food Bank, would like to thank you for the many years of loving and caring you
have shown by your generous giving of food over the years. Because of you, we have been able to
give to a small, needy town.
We started out very small but now we give to at least 100 families every week as well as once a
month food boxes for those who qualify. We have a church service before the food is given out
because the food is good for the people but God’s Word is greater.
In the last year, we received over 4,500 lbs of food a week to share.
Jerry, you and your staff and workers are a ‘great blessing’ to us. You are always giving credit and
thanks for what others are doing but it’s because of you and God that we can do so much.”

In January, 2010 we received the following email from Brother Manuel Castro, Pastor and Director of the
Gethsemane Baptist Church and Gethsemane Food Ministry in San Luis, AZ:

“Hi Brother Jerry
Happy New Year ! ! ! I just want to share with you a very good time on the activities last two weeks.
We distributed more than 100 new bikes to the children’s both sides of the border. Really we make
happy many children’s. At the same time we distributed toys, hot food, food boxes to go, blankets,
shoes, and many other gifts. Also we share the Word of God and His message of salvation.
God bless you for your help. You make possible to us
to do the work of JESUS. Thank you to help us to help
others. All the food clothes, furniture, meat, and
many other things is a tremendous blessing to us. I
don’t have the words to say thank you, and I don’t
have the monies to pay what you do for us. I just pray
for you for God give you abundantly.
We make this activities in San Luis, AZ, Somerton, AZ -
Gadsden, AZ – San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico and
Baja, California/Mexico we help and ministry more
than 1,300 children’s. All together, and one more
activity is coming in two more weeks. I send you a few pictures to see what we are doing.”
