FOOD

CMI volunteers make an average of 76 regular collections of food each week from Tucson contributors.  CMI collected and distributed over 3.4 million lbs of food last year.  This food helps people who otherwise may go hungry.  The distribution of food in Tucson is handled through CMI's main warehouse at the Pascua Center, where food is given out weekly in the inner-city.  CMI provides food to an average of 558,000 people each year in Tucson and along the AM/Mexico border.

CLOTHING

Volunteers sort, fold and hang donated clothing items.  These are provided to families and individuals receiving food through our ministry programs.  More than 88,000 lbs of clothing were distributed last year in Tucson and along the AZ/Mexico border.

FURNITURE

It comes in and goes out the same way - free to those in need.  From couches, beds, end tables and lamps, to kitchen items, and bed & bath linens.  People in transitional situations, refugees who arrive in Tucson with only the clothes they are wearing, people who loose everything in a home fire, and other who need help - these are the people who receive assistance from CMI's furniture, appliance, and household good ministry.
